Collin's Story
Lifelong commitment to service
Collin has worked to put the people of Galveston first.
Born and raised in Galveston, my dedication to the betterment of our community has been a lifelong endeavor. From an early age, the values of hard work, community service, and personal integrity were instilled in me, shaping the individual and the public servant I am today. My journey began at Texas State University, where my passion for public service led me to chair the Texas Republicans. This platform allowed me to advocate for the principles I hold dear - limited government, fiscal responsibility, and individual liberty.
In the ever-evolving political landscape, it's easy for the essence of public service to be overshadowed by partisan bickering and special interests. However, I believe in a politics that places the people of Galveston at its heart. A politics that prioritizes results over rhetoric, and actions over arguments. My aim is to bring about a change that resonates on a personal level with each individual, making a tangible difference in their lives. In a bid to foster a better political environment, my focus has been on promoting policies that are in the best interests of Galveston residents. Whether it's tackling the digital infrastructure issues to ensure affordable, high-speed internet for all, or preserving the environmental integrity of our beautiful coastal city, my objective remains the same - to serve the people of Galveston to the best of my ability.
We deserve a better politics, a politics that focuses on results, not bickering. A politics that helps people, not special interests.
At Texas State University, my political journey truly kicked off. Chairing the Texas Republicans provided me with an avenue to engage in meaningful dialogues and contribute to shaping the political narrative. It was during this period that I honed my leadership skills, gaining a deeper understanding of the intricacies of policy-making and the profound impact it has on the lives of individuals and communities alike. Post-university, my engagement with various conservative institutions and my work in Republican politics have only strengthened my resolve to serve the people of Galveston. Each experience has been a stepping stone, equipping me with the knowledge and the fortitude to face the challenges that come with public service. My story is one of unwavering commitment to the community I call home. It's about making a difference, one policy at a time, and working tirelessly to ensure that the voice of Galveston is heard loud and clear in the political arena.
